Ho my. This scanned badly... took a lot of tweaking... ._.
OH WELL~
Here's the coloured version.
I gave the original to someone as a slightly late Valentine's card... I'm actually quite happy with the traditional version.

I really like Penelope... but dang, the scanner sure does kicks her ass. :c
...Oh well, she's apparently become one of my new muses, judging by how much I enjoy drawing her. Another of my characters whose chosen to infest my brain for a while and distract me from schoolwork. XD

And there you go making creature creations look adorable at the same time. How? Just how?

:heart: her..tentacle tail? The white with red designs on it, is beautiful and whimsical in a way :heart: Much like her adorable curls. This is a very cute concept <3 lovely coloring work and design of course

It's a bit hard to tell from the two images I've uploaded of her, but they are a set of tentacle arms. I'm really please the design has that effect. That mix of cute and strange is exactly what I was hoping for. Thank you very much. c:

Hahaha when I saw this my first thought was "How sweet!" then I realized what was in the box xD I enjoy the pose very much, she looks like an icon, the way her tail wraps around her. I'm sure your friend must have loved this as a card! ^^ I forgot to mention in my other comment of Penelope, but I love how you color her hair, particularly the bit of tail fluff. The colors are blended so well and the hair flows beautifully.
